Women Empowerment League (WEL) in association with Consulate General of India, Johannesburg organised a Millet Langar Seva at Gurudwara Sahib Sandton, Johannesburg which was attended by over 600 people.

Special thanks to His Excellency Mr Mahesh Kumar ji (Consul General), Mr Harbinder Singh Sethi ji, Ms Pamela Sethi ji for the great support they provided to make this event so successful.

On behalf of WEL, I would like to take this opportunity to compliment Mr Harbinder Singh Sethi ji and Ms Pamela Sethi ji for always wholeheartedly participating and actively working in noble causes.

As we all are aware, concern for others and being at the forefront when it comes to humanitarian work, is central to the teachings of Sikhism, Mr and Mrs Sethi and the Gurudwara Sahib Sandton follows this mantra to the core. We would like to salute you all for the admirable work that you are doing in Johannesburg.

Speaking about WEL ladies, it was a such a divine and memorable experience for each one of us spending time at the Gurudwara and preparing food along with our Gurudwara brothers and sisters. It was such an emotional moment for everyone when they were felicitated by Mr Sethi ji.

WEL this year had organized Diwali charity and celebrations event for the underprivileged women in South Africa. When we enquired with Ms Pamela Sethi ji if she would like to contribute, she immediately came forward and supported us wholeheartedly to make the event a huge success.

WEL would love to continue our great bonding with the Gurudwara Sahib Sandton.

Waheguru ji ka khalsa, Waheguru ji ki fateh🙏
